And Button Moon of course had some excellent backing music. My 3 year old daughter watches this now sometimes and I can't believe how mad this program is :D

Now... let the oldskool vs newskool TV shows argument begin :pac:

I'm really getting addicted (finally) to youtube now. I had one of these Amstrad 4 track/hi-fi units as a kid!

Going way off topic here now but can't help it, should really rename the thread!

This is a seriously fcked up ad from the 80's

Nice thread, love all the ennio stuff-DJ yoda uses loads of it,
Jonny 68 was going on about hardcore uproar's together (massive tune) - the keyboard riff is taken from Assault on Precinct 13 by john carpenter (also used by awesome 3's hard up in 1090 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYDqTlUVI9E )
    here's the original-great electronica fron 1972

Excellent stuff, have the Carpenter one alright on some compilation, great track... as is the film. That Hard Up tune is excellent too, haven't got that actually yet on vinyl, must sort that!

And Ennio is brilliant, love most of his work but a Fistful of Dollars is a real stand-out track for me.

What i like from ennio is all the incidental bits, though a fistful is a cracker (all those spaghetti's are mind you) The awesome 3/hardcore uproar trax were part of a load which sampled crowds blowing whistles and horns and shouting-they always got a big rise from a crowd, it was used to great effect by xpress 2

    monster tune!

Ah yeah, absolute gem of a tune... loved a few of their early tracks, London X-Press is a great tune too and 'Say What', wasn't mad though on Hip Housin.
