Finally caught up and watched 310... The ending wasn't really dissappointing, I just hope the next arc will be as good as this was... Though to be honest, the only arcs I've had a problem with are

the ones about the princess and that stupid ones about the zanpakutou... completely skipped those ones

still though... 310 episodes to reach this.... Wtf!

The manga continues after a timeskip. There doesn't seem to be much of a plot yet. It's Ichigo acting mopey and avoiding his friends. He then goes to meet up with a group of weirdos with strange powers who are to train him to help him restore his powers.

There's about five or so episodes worth of material published. Expect a Narutoesque bout of filler.

Don't even touch it. Naruto is pretty terrible. Had some good fights early on but that's it.

If you want something to fill you need for Shounen while Bleach pads out, watch One Piece.

It's the best thing ever.

No idea, I stopped watching it right then and there.

It's almost certainly in filler. I can't see myself ever picking it up again.

They did a few of those single episode crapfests but I think 1 or 2 weeks ago they started some story.

Episodes 157-220 of Naruto was all filler.A filler arc is far better than these 1 shot episodes. Either way, filler is still filler.

Oh, right. Didn't dawn on me she was referencing a recurring theme in the manga/anime.
That was active when they broke into soul society though, the mask saved his life a time or two.

I quite like the new ark/filler but the one thing I noticed is the step up in the animation there's allot more detail and the action shots are pretty cool has anyone else noticed this?

I noticed the improvement in how fluid the action seemed.

Story-wise Naruto is a lot more solid than bleach, before Shippuuden it was actually a pretty good series. The forest of death, the arena battles, the epic battle that followed, all top notch stuff. Alas, in Shippuuden it turns into huge filler arks and extremely drawn out fights and lame Mexican stand-offs. But with 100 or so pretty good episodes, it's definitely not a write-off. I won't be watching either anymore, too much effort downloading the episodes only to be disappointed. I might pick them up again when they finish. Or if they finish.

This current filler is pretty good, least there was a decent fight last episode there, still.......Naruto is the one to watch atm.

Have I heard this right is Bleach finally ending? I looked at MAL and it shows it ending at episode 366.

I highly doubt it as they changed the art in the latest arc only which would have been a waste of time if they were going to end the series that quickly (arc would be around 20 episodes assuming 366 being the last one).
