Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all
If a German dealer offers a second hand (over 6,000km & more than 6 months old) motorhome for sale without the VAT, what is the procedure once back in Irl? Do you have to pay 21% here? Any advice greatly appreciated
    Thanks

Yes, you have to pay VAT somewhere.

In this case you'd be better of paying it in Germany though, as it is only 19% there.

If the dealer doesn't want to accept a payment including VAT (and give you a proper invoice for it, stating the VAT), walk away ...because that would be very fishy indeed.
