Riffs, Samples and loops

hey there folks,
a few years back i got a cd with royalty free music on it from a guitar magazine,it had drum,bass,piano and guitar Riffs/Samples/loops.
i only ever mixed one song off it, and of course now i want to mix more i cant find any free riffs etc for download.

i joined here but the stuff they have isnt exactly what im looking for (although i did get some gems)
wondering if anyone has links to what im looking for.

Its been a while since I was poking around for that kind of thing but there should be ridiculous amounts of stuff out there both free and pay for. Start with google general searches http://www.google.com/search?q=%22free+loops%22&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:pt-PT:official&client=firefox-a

THen maybe narrow it down to online communites making loop based music in your style, youll save alot of legwork.
