Raw 27/05/08 ***SPOILERS***

Main thing first, Vince has promised that he is going to give away one million dollars cash at raw shows in the future! He claims it is not an angle or a scam and is completely for real.

He also announced that the 2008 draft will take place in 4 weeks.

Opening segment was good I thought. Orton and HHH yelling at each other in the ring, Orton called HHH on his backstage antics about befriending people who are a threat to him (referencing Shawn as an example), HHH said he would beat Orton within an inch of his life at ONS.

Kendrick & London lost to Holly & Rhodes after beating them clean on Heat. Ted DiBiase came out after the match (\o/, the best heel in the business is back for sure!) and introduced his son, who told Holly and Rhodes he will gain the tag titles in his first ever match. No mention was made of who his partner will be.

HBK and Jericho had a great match imo, the constant counters and avoiding moves made it a great match. I could honestly watch the two of them wrestle every day. Hell, they made a great match tonight out of not landing moves, that says it all!

Missed the tag match of Jeff & Cena -vs- JBL & Umaga so I've no idea what the match was like, but JBL and Umaga won it.

The Vince bit finished the night, but I missed a few bits during the show (channel hopping between all the bloody ads and losing track of time) so sorry about that

Good show overall - the end was a bit disappointing imo, but we shall see how the $1m thing will go over the next few weeks. As for the draft, I hope some big changes will happen to liven up all of the shows - again, we shall see what happens!

Hopefully Dibiases partner will be Joe Hennig. They trained together in Harley Races promotion and joe was at a WWE dark match a while back (as jobbers though).

I wouldn't be suprised if it was DH Smith, start some sort of stable with some of the younger guys with DiBiase Sr. as their mouth piece.

Vince's $1m reeks of desperation to me, the ratings are slipping and thats the best thay can think of?, how about putting on good matches like HBK vs Y2J every week or actually having some wrestling on their show

DiBiase jr. looks just like Randy Orton.The million dollar give away seems a bit of a sheer desperation scam alright.

P.S It wasn't mentioned yet but Y2J and HBK got counted out and Jericho tried to hit HBK with a chair but walked away(Heel turn within the next month).

The Draft has to be a sucess or the ratings will continue to fall.

the draft cant come sooner tbh, raw has too many big names compared to smackdown and they just dont know what to do with them. John Cena and JBL fude? rubbish and pointless they didnt have anything better for them to do. Chris Jericho has just being arsing about too since he came back and his fude with michaels boring also

I actually enjoyed RAW tonight, was kinda hoping DiBiase would be GM, but seeing Ted DiBiase Jr was a treat, he has mannerisms of a young Orton Jr, but he definitely looks like his dad (in the day when he shaved). He's 3rd generation as well so here's hoping all goes well.

The "priceless" promo was awesome and generated a lot of heel heat. Will be interesting to see where he goes with this. Especially feuding with Cody Rhodes bringing up the old DiBiase v Rhodes feud from 1990-1991 with their fathers. Wonder if they'll mention that?

The money giveaway thing has me stumped and left me disappointed with his "epic announcement". Nothing new there for WWE though.

I don't think it's gonna be a stable really, although if they give DiBiase the GM position, i can see them doing a powertrip storyline where Ted Jr gets everything via nepotism. If anything, it's regenerated my interest in RAW... for now.

That was priceless! Mickie James suggests to McMahon a "diva for a day" for kids, and JBL basically translates it as "an escort service for children" as well as suggesting that Mickie and John Cena had exchanged several bodily fluids.

The whole 'major announcement' thing was a MAJOR letdown tbh....although I didnt expect much more.

I like this idea of a heel faction,Million Dollar man as mouthpiece.....then TDB Jr,cody rhodes,DH Smith & Henning Jr....might stir a little bit of interest

I think WWE has been missing a bit of faction action for a while now(discounting DX return which in all fairness was...well cant even be counted)...
