Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I presume you mean parks for the van, not play parks???

Dowlings in Glengarriff is reasonable (not stayed there, but passed it plenty of times)... bit of a stroll into the village though.. If you play any music, I've heard musicians are more than welcome...

Eagle Point in Bantry is supposed to be good (although I live in bantry, so haven't visited it - too close to home - you can get to the beach from there)... It's not really bantry, more ballylickey...

Hungry Hill at Adrigole is okay, although with kids there's not much to do, but it depends on their age as there is west cork sailing is close by - canoe, kayak etc... on the bay.

Skibbereen has the Hideaway, again i've never stayed there, but it's more or less in the town centre - it has some swings etc....

There's a park in Castletownbere next to the Golf Club, but I haven't tried it yet...

I'm thinking of Allihies for the sat/sun evening - there is Anthonys caravan park there, right on the beach, however there's no hook up... its cheap enough and just round the corner again on the beach is a place to wild camp. There's a music festival on in Allihies over the next week, so it may be busy (Michael Dwyer memorial festival, 6th - 8th June..)... I spent numerous weekends down there last summer in one of his caravans with my 3 lads (which helped with the decision to buy the camper).. loads of other kids on site and really good fun..

There's a few suggestions for you... enjoy the weekend.

    Chris
