    Some activists in Chambery (in the French Alps) were unable to get the council agree on a cycle track on a busy city centre street, they decided to go the DIY way.

    They started by having 2 dozen of cyclists riding with a 1m long stick to represent the "safe overtaking distance", and then used that traffic slow-down to mark the track, and sign it.

    No helmet??!!!
    Helmets do not prevent accidents.

    That said, I wear one.
