    Hi All,

    I'm looking to buy a snazzy watch (for a man) in the near future, one of the kind of brands you'd find in an expensive high street jewellers (eg Rolex, Tag Heure). Does anyone know of (and have experience of) an alternative distributor that can get the same item to the punter at a much lower price. (eg internet site, jeweler across the border, open market or anything else).

    Any help would be appreciated. Thanks In Advance for all responses.

    Here's an idea, might be helpful.
    Look on the company websites. Pick watches you like on each site Omega, Tag Heuer, Rolex etc. Look for their distributor network. Email the retailers looking for a price. Asia or US bound to be cheaper. This way you can compare prices across the world. How you get the watch from A to B is another story. Dubai is famously good value but with so many excellent fakes out there I wouldn't stray from the registered dealers. New York is another good bet as you can order it in and get anyone you know going there to pick it up. Doubt its worth buying it here.
