    number 441

my favourite part is the note saying "Please carry with you some form of identification and the name and a contact telephone number of someone to contact in the event of an emergency. Your blood type would be of benefit also..."

seems like a nice way of telling us that some of us will be found unconscious and bleeding at the bottom of a ravine. ace.

i'm quite excited about it now.

You may have to collect it on the day, they said in an email that there was some kind of error with the addresses
Some addresses did not come out as postable in the database and these will
be held for collection at the start.

    For What's It's Worth.........

I headed off last year at .......a few minutes before 7am.

Climbing up Slieve Mann at 12:20, midday heat. And it was a clear sky!
    Dynamite.
Geezer passed me 20 miles prior to the big climb, wearing a Polkadot T de F jersey.
Felt sorry for him. Alot of people passed him.
    Be practical.

    Lads,

I managed to buy someone else's registration as they are going away on holiday. Any chance I can have the name changed so that the certificate won't be under someone elses name?

If you managed two 100k cycles recently I would say go for the 200. I did it last year having never done that sort of distance before and found it OK. There will be plenty of people around you to support, it sort of makes it easier!

DirkVoodoo- I had a late entry last year and they changed the name on the cert at the end, wasn't a problem. You don't need to do anything until you finish!

You should really change that to IF i finish :)
