Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Appealling a driving ban???

In january I was banned for driving for one year. I have heard that it was possible to appeall the ban after half it had been served. This would allow me to appeal the ban in a few weeks. However I rang the court today to see about what actions I was required to take but was informed that I can not appeall the ban due to a new law that was enforced at the start of the year.

Would anyone be able to shed some light on this?

Were you convicted in a court or did it happen in your absence?

I got my driving ban overturned but only because I did not show up in court and the garda had no proof that I had got the summons.....

Can you read the stickies and notes on the forum - legal advice is not given here.

If you need advice go find a solicitor who can help you. There are plenty who can.
