    Well, I'm going to see David Bowie play in Salthill.

    if it aint raining go buy a kite, go to south park and fly
    if it is raining i think there is a festival of cultural flims on over the weekend but it may end on sunday

    and of course there always the pub food of galway to be tried an tested

    ....i wud say surfin but your **** at thatbiggrin.gif

    just thought if ur both not from these parts take a historical walking tour of the city if the date is crap u can escape in the crowds

    You could be touristy and check out the aran islands/burren/connemara etc.

    Take a nice stroll into galway or do a big bike loop.

    Chill on the beach with a book, say The Siege of Krishnapur by J.G. Farrell ;)

    And there's always the spanish arch if you wanna give the liver a workout.
