Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

i was looking at the regs and cant get my head around the logic with the u value requirement at ceiling level into an unheated attic space being 0.16 and a flat roof being 0.22. both secenarios are heat loss to the building. u values between walls and floors are irrespective of wheter its into an unheated space or external.

    maybe i'm just missing something

your not - I agree with you , but

    read values as MIN values

    thanks sinnerboy

yeah i agree with using them at min values. i always try to get an understanding of where a code/regulation is coming from and the thinking behind it (none in this case). it makes working with it alot easier.

The flat roof one should be alot lower, equal to the trad roof insulated on flat
(i'm not saying the pic in the op is wrong, im saying this should be the case)
