Friendlies are possibly the worst games you can bet on but hey!

    THis is whats on tonight;

    18:00 Moldova ? - ? Armenia
    19:00 Russia ? - ? Serbia
    20:05 Norway ? - ? Uruguay
    21:05 England ? - ? United States
    21:35 Iceland ? - ? Wales

My only bet will be a small chunk on a Draw with Iceland & Wales

Remember reading somewhere that England are notorious for drawing games at half and going on to win them, i.e. in friendlies like this or qualifiers against weak opposition. Might have a small bet on draw half time England full time.

Sorry for going off topic. But what is a small chunk? I thought a chunk by def was something big..

Personally without any idea of Iceland's team I'd probably lean toward a home win. Iceland are hardly building for the future and Toshack was bemoaning the lack of availability of players. However I very likely won't bet on it.

Suppose it's my bad grammer more than anything else! I use different amounts for different bets, a small bet 1 point, a big bet 2-3 points, a small chunk 3-5 points and a big chunk 5-10 points. So yeah, a chunk is big by deff but how small is a big piece of string?

Plenty of other friendlies over the next few days too. I'd say the Russians and Serbs, big mates that they are, will play out a friendly draw 9/4.

    Backed England -1 @ 5-4 with Paddypower.
England fielding a very strong back 4 and very stong midfield
Unsure about Ashton up front but can definitely see them having too much for the USA.
Rooney and Gerrard to score in a 2-0 win

id go for a boring 0-0 or maybe 1-0 to ireland, then again i could be completely wrong and it could be an epic 3-3!!

I would be inclined to lay Ireland for this, largely based on the fact that they suck.
Probably just avoid the game altogether!

you would be mad betting on this friendly lads. england had somthing to prove last night wembley terry gerrard not getting any prizes this year.
2 nil was what could of been 4 or 5 nil

great value in dundalk tonight at home 4/6 better than the ireland game.

I wouldn't go near them at 4/6. Much too tight. The 4/5 with Boyles however i wouldn't put people off it.

    29/05/2008 €30.00 To Win - Treble Internet 1 Ireland v Colombia - London
    Under 2.5 Goals
    4 - 6 Pending
    - Finland v Turkey - Duisburg
    Under 3.5 Goals
    2 - 5 Pending
    - Holland v Denmark
    Under 3.5 Goals
    2 - 9 Pending

Went with that in the end.
    30 pays out 85

Coming to think about it Colombia to win seems like a great bet at 2/1
