Why encourage crowds?

With regards to the key item of discussion over the past day or so, the public naming of spots is wrong and most surfers of any experience seem to agree. There are enough popular beaches and spots well known to surfers across the country that can handle crowds.

Do not invite or encourage crowds at spots that cannot handle crowds, it is dangerous for all in the water when that happens. Drop ins cause injuries and damage to boards on tighter spots.

Z knows well that what he has done is wrong, cpoh seems to have confused the issue with personal vendetas / grudge. Z should now be the bigger person and remove the link / maps. If he wants respect, that is how he may salvage some. As it is, he only has the fleeting admiration of a few kooks, but has lost the respect of any surfer who has reached a certain level of maturity in this respect.

    Why encourage crowds?
