Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Go and stay at the Silvery moon bungalows. They are the nicest people in Thailand!!! It is a lovely spot and the full moon party can we walked to, by going along the beach.. although it takes about a half hour. The bungalows are away from the crazy part of town which is nice during the day. Book the huts looking over the water... you'll love it. God I miss travelling.

    Neptune's Villas

Also, I just came back (this time last week, sniff) from travelling Australia and S E Asia. Here's some good websites for accomadation (lonely planets should just be used as guides, reviews from people who were there last week/last month are what you want!)

Virtualtourist.com Good for some places in Asia like Thailand, Australia and New Zealand

Travelfish.org is good for Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam

    Hostelworld.com

Asiarooms.com if you're going more upmarket and looking for 4/5 star hotels. Also with these, just look at the pricing, then get the contact number and ring up (skype) and try get a cheaper price. Normally works.

Aswell as Tripadvisor & Thorntree forum.. but I always looked at the other sites first.

or do both... chill out after the party on Phi Phi (buses run across between the two)... or Ko Lanta, thats nice too.

It's a wicked Island with lots to do it turns into a dump when eveyone comes over for the full moon party and ****s off again the next day...

I'd advise going 2 weeks before the full moon party and check out the other partys.... We went to the half moon party, no moon party, waterfall party, princess party, there's no shortage of partys on the Island...

Check out the little bar up on the cliff at hat rin beach.....don't expect to get in there when the full moons out....

Enjoy and keep away from the yaba...
