I'd like to start by saying this forum is an excellent resource. The threads I have read so far have been very insightful and helpful. Thank you in advance for any input.

I am an undergraduate student studying Finance & Accounting in the United States looking to attend one of the excellent UK or Ireland taught masters programs next fall. The optimal school for me would have excellent faculty, challenging coursework, and a great location.

With strong international reputations and the ability to compete with US schools, UK and Irish taught masters have garnered my interest in the areas of Finance, Strategy & Entrepreneurship, and Renewable/Sustainable Energy. With so many potential schools available I am respectfully seeking input for top programs that fit my profile, and how these programs are perceived with you guys and gals on the other side of the pond as well as potential employers. :pac:

Recently I considered part-time (two year) enrollment in my masters in order to become a Chartered Accountant. My father was born in Clare, so I have Irish citizenship that will make for an smooth transition into the workplace. I think this would be an amazing experience if feasible. Does anyone have any advice for this track?

Here is some info on my academic background to help in a recommendation. My undergraduate university was ranked #7 for accounting and #8 for finance in the United States in 2007. I plan on scoring at least a 650 on the GMAT with a goal of 690. I have already been considering Trinity, University College Dublin, Imperial, Edinburgh, and LSE but I am unsure on my chances of admission due to the large number of qualified applicants.

Thank you kindly for any suggestions, responses, or insights.
