Pick your favourite star ship in any of the Star Trek series.
Me? It's a toss up between the Defiant and Enterprise E although I think the Defiant shades it for being more aggressive looking plus the cloak.

Always liked the Klingon ships. Bird of Pray gets my vote.

Lots and lots of other options you could have (and some you very much should have) included here though. I'll kick off the complaints (:P) by suggesting the Enterprise-A, from the movies, should be included. And the Romulan Warbird.

The bird of prey just shades it over the Defiant and Enterprise-D. But I've always had a soft spot for the class of ships seen at the start of First Contact, Steamrunner and Akira-class especially.

I always thought a well-balanced Federation squadron should have an Enterprise-type ship as its flagship\command and control centre, supported by some Akiras or Nebulas, with Defiant, Akira and Steamrunner classes to pack a punch. The Enterprise (Galaxy or Sovereign class) could be a carrier to a squad of Peregrine-class scout ships also.

Definitely the Defiant with the Enterprise E a close second.

Steam runner class and Akira -> from playing Star Trek Armada :D

Warbird from NG and DS9 and the Romulan ships from Nemesis (not the Scimitar)

Neg'var massive ship and very intimidating.

    USS Excelsior really liked that.

The Breen & Jem Hadar warships were all pretty impressive.

But my vote goes to the Defiant

    Worf: "little..."

    Federation: 1) Akira 2) Soverign 3) Defiant
    Klingon: 1) Negh'var 2) Vorcha
    Romulan: 1)Valdore 2) Warbird

The Scimitar is also flippin cool. And the Jeh'Hadar Battlecruiser.

That was the name of the ship, anyone know what class it was from

i.e. the Warbird from TNG &DS9 is Deredex Class (forgive my spelling!)

Enterprise E. I like technology and I like my comfort.

It was the Valdore class. The first ship is traditionally named after its class.

    You mean the Intrepid Class.

The Prometheus is pretty kick a$$ but i love the Dauntless:cool:

She may not be real, but she was smooth and beautiful.

Also the romulan ship is the Valdore-Type, there is no name for the class as there is no canon establishing what its called. Although Armada 2 mods call it Valdor Class.

Also the warbird is the D'deridex class, i have no idea why it has the extra D but it does.

For me, the refit Constitution class was the best (Enterprise and Enterprise-A in the films)

I love the sleek design, yet it still retains a rugged overall shape and still looks quite similar to its original TV version. It has cool flares to the nacelles, thick neck with protruding torpedo launcher, a saucer that's not oversized (Enterprise D looked top-heavy and ungainly, a problem which arose while filming Generations, according to Ron D Moore). And when it warped through space it had that near jet engine whoosh, the flow of rainbow light from its engines, it looked real.

Plus that glowing blue deflector dish...in the book Ship of the Line, a character calls it the glowing eye of a god. It looked so cool as it charged into the Mutara Nebula...

Remember that ship (not real) that kept coming and firing on the Enterprise (TNG) and it turned out to be created from an old guys imagination? That thing was huge and looked pretty damn cool too.

Defiant for me though. If i was building a spaceship, thats how i would make it look.
