Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
I am 20 I am having a kid. Me and my partner live togther and we are both planning to go back to college. I just finished a plc course and she toke a year out. I am working in another town at the moment.

I am wondring would I qualify for Back to education? I have to leave my job when college comes because its far away and I can't find anything close. Also does plc not count as a year off formal education.

As far as I know you have to be unemployed for 9 months which is stupid imo.

There's no help in Ireland for hard working people at all, if you had of went on the dole after your course and stayed on it for a good while they would pay you to go back but seeing as you got off your arse and paid a bit of tax they won't pay you to go back.
