Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, going inter-railing this smmer and trying to decide which ticket to get. Just wondering do the tickets work on trains, buses, etc, in the different cities? I will be getting a global ticket.

No, they won't work on buses and they dont work on metros, subways etc. within cities, just on normal trains.

Basically, it applies to standard trains to take you between cities. If you want a night train with bunks or a fast train you'll have to pay more on top of the ticket. It doesnt cover local transport within a city or even long distance buses... I got the 28 day global ticket. Make sure you fly into a city you want to visit, and book the interrail ticket to begin on the day you want to leave the city, then do the same with returning home. Travel on the last day your ticket is valid and have your flight booked for a few days later... this way you can get around 35 days of a holiday out of a 28 day ticket.
