Cycling in Catalonia

I'm off to a place called Pals in Catalonia on Wednesday and wonder if anyone here knows of either a couple of good routes in that neck of the woods or a website to point me in the right direction. I'm not bringing my own bike but will hire one, they're usually bog standard mountain bikes. Normally I keep to the road but when in Rome.. Any help appreciated.

Did a bit of cycling around there last September and you have 2 VIAverdes (traffic free cycle/walking routes) around Girona and one of them is quite close to where u are going. The other one runs North From Girona and is about 40 Miles.
