Phoenix Park to Damastown

I am coming to Dublin in a few days to work in Damastown Ind Estate for 8 months and I'm currently looking for an accomodation. I'd like to rent something close to Phoenix Park (Cabra, Ashtown, Phibsborough...) but I'm a little bit worried about the commuting time during peak hours. Do you think that it wouldn't be too hard to get there on time in the morning? (using the 38/38a line)

    Thanks

If you're travelling from the Phibsborough area to Damastown in the mornings and returning in the evenings, then you'll have no problem as you'll be travelling against the flow of the rush each time.

The 38A is MUCH quicker than the 38, so it's well worth getting. I have seen buses on the 38A catch up with a 38 at Ballycoolin Bridge, even though it would have left the city centre 20 minutes later.

Allow around 45 minutes for each leg of your bus journey.

Your against the traffic so no real issues with that. You could get a motorbike.
