    Anyone doing this next week??

I was looking at the FTC exams tips earlier and they have 'The Financial Management Function and the impact of the economic environment upon it' as one of the tips. Anyone else think this will come up? It'd be nice if it did. Not the hardest topic in the world.

hey scoot on, i'm doin this on thursday - big two days study ahead!

that would be a nice question but i doubt it would come up as a whole question in isolation, but probably a 8 or 9 marker.

I'm focusing on knowing as many of the calculations as I can and relying on winging it for the written questions.

not looking forward to it...

    any tips yourself?

    Absolutely no tips. Unfortunately!!

Even if it came up as an 8 or 9 marker it'd be nice. I'm the same as you, concentrating on the calculations so I think the theory is going to kill me!

I'm really not looking forward to it. It's a horrible subject.

I'm hoping CAPM will come up because he's done three articles on it this year. Surely that has to be some sign? If it doesn't come up i'm well and truly screwed.

I didn't like the convertible bond in question 1. Got a bit stuck on that one but it was my own fault for not studying enough!
I thought the NPV was fine. I spent ages studying it though so I would have been disgusted if I'd got stuck on it. Some of the theory parts involved lots and lots of waffle! But I hope to god I passed. I don't want to have to do that again.

I've P1 on Monday and F7 on Tuesday. The joys! I spent so much time studying F9 i've loads to do now for F7. I did a good bit of it in college though so i'm hoping it's still in my head somewhere!
I was exempt from F5 so didn't have to do it. Is it bad?
