Alright folks bare with me on this one as I'm more of a green tea fan but I'm partial to a cup of mocha.

Bought Java Republic 'Mocha Cento' fresh ground coffee with a 'Grind Specific Filter' sticker on it. It has no brewing instructions on the packet.

Currently using a tea pot (2 large mug) with a central stainless steal filter (no plunger), 4 teaspoons of coffee and leaving for about 4 minutes. Tastes good as it is, any recommendations?

Strange think is there is no chocolate in this coffee.

    Thanks

Mocha is a town in Yemen where they grow coffee.

The coffee grown here was supposed to have a chocolately taste.

Café mocha which is like a latté with chocolate was named after this.

What you bought is the former.

7g of coffee to every 120ml of water (just off the boil).

Either use a french press or a pour over filter.

as Re*ac*tor said, get a french press or something. you can pick them up on the cheap in dunnes, tesco, tk maxx, and good home store.
