Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    OUTLET EXPRESS

A new direct coach service will commence this week to ferry shoppers from the Republic to Northern Ireland’s leading designer shopping outlet.

From this Wednesday, Bus Éireann will operate a new direct service twice weekly to The Outlet, a major discount fashion shopping centre, located just outside Banbridge on the main Belfast to Dublin Road.

Offering reductions of up to 70% on internationally known designer and high street brands and with 67 stores, the shopping line up at The Outlet is unparalleled in Ireland. Luxury designer stores at the Outlet include Joseph, Jaeger and Ghost. Well known high street stores include the Gap, Nike, Timberland, DKNY Jeans, Replay, Mexx and many more including luggage brands Samsonite and Mandarina Duck, as well as cafes, restaurants and a host of other facilities.

Bus Éireann PR Manager, Erica Roseingrave said: “We are delighted to introduce this new service to our customers and are sure that it will be a hit with stylish shoppers who like a bargain. Not only will people be able to take advantage of the great prices in store at the Outlet, they can capitalise on the Euro sterling exchange rate and avoid tolls, parking charges and petrol costs by travelling with Bus Éireann for just €22 return from Dublin.

Starting this Wednesday, June 4th, the Bus Éireann Outlet Express will operate twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays, departing from Busaras in Dublin to the Outlet at Bridgewater Park, Banbridge.

The service departs Busaras at 09:00, arriving at the Outlet at 11:00. The return service departs the Outlet at 16:00 arriving in Busaras at 18:00. Customers can find out more information and book online at www.buseireann.ie or by calling (01) 8366111. Fares from Dublin are €22 return (€17 return from Drogheda & €15 return from Dundalk)

Bus Éireann is already operating the Ikea Express to the Swedish home wares superstore in Belfast. Tickets for the Bus Éireann IKEA Express, which also operates on Wednesdays & Saturdays, can be booked in advance online at www.buseireann.ie. Adult return fares are €25. A service from Drogheda/Dundalk direct to IKEA also operates on Wednesday & Saturday.
