Will this station open when the Luas extension to Cherrywood opens? It depends on the spine road between Carrickmines and Cherrywod being built. Seems kind of silly to have a station in the middle of a field with no access whatsoever!

It'd probably make most financial sense to get the guts of the 'station' built (platforms, etc) when building the line, but leave the fit-out until it actually has a reason to open. Would reduce or eliminate any time the line needed to be closed to put in the pedestrian crossing for the station, for instance.
