Eircom Problems

    I've just moved home and I'm back using 2mb eircomBB but I'm having problems with it. I mainly using the BB for gaming i.e ventrilo/CS:S/irc, but from about 12 till 2am I'll be getting ping from 40 to 300 randomly.
    I've done a speed test and I'm getting about 1.7mb but my ping is up and down from 16ms to 200ms. I have rang Eircom but nothing has changed, is there anything that I can do or say to them as I'm not so great with the whole BB thing =/

    I'm getting the exact same speed (1.7mb) o my 3mb BT line for the past 24 hours :confused:
