Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I am trying to fix a friends laptop(Dell Latitude D630). I was trying to get in onto a lan earlier but I couldn't activate the NIC(Broadcom NetXtreme 57XX)

Whenever I right-click LAN -> Enable it says connection failed!

Also I cant enable it throught device manager either.

I have downloaded the latest drivers from dell and i'm not sure they installed correctly.
It added the above device and also same name with "packet scheduler miniport" at the end (it also had the yellow exclamation....)

I've tried removing these devices and starting again but Device Manager just hangs..

Also using the setup software requires removal of previous devices..Hangs also.

    I'm all out..

P.S. I'm just about to try safe mode to do all the above operations but still give advice, thanks..

    Techguy.

Got drivers from manufacturers site:broadcom.com... Shame on Dell for not having the latest drivers!
