Tile sealer question

    I am working with a group making a mosaic (creating an image using broken tiles)on a table top. As the table is to be placed outside I want to seal it so it won't absorb water.

    I have heard there is a product available that is used to seal and finish natural stone tiles. I think it is resin based.

    Any ideas what I can use? Where I can get it?

    In the last couple of days I saw a waterproofing spray, would this be adequate. I really need a tilers advice....
