Just moved into Douglas in Cork and I was wondering what would be a good broadband provider to go with.

Any help is appriciated.

Smart is not available in Douglas as far as I know. I just checked my line again and it says:

We're sorry but it appears Smart Broadband is not currently available in your area. (DOUGLAS exchange).

Really annoys me as the feckers throw flyers in my front door with offers but I can't actually get it.

Wouldn't go with Digiweb.

Living on the main Douglas Road and because of trees in the way or some crap excuse we were limited to Digiweb. Have had a lot of trouble with it since day one, especially as regards to phoneline/internet connection :mad:

I dont know of people in Douglas that have smart, its possible they may have run out of space in the exchange ... blame eircom.

RE: Digiweb, buddy of mine had them and they were rock solid.

I'd go with smart though, i was with them for 2 years and they were great, except for that time eircom cut everyone off
