there's a ladies hairdressers beside the town hall called "The Hair Box".

Im amazed (being as it's Bray) that some local wit hasn't added a Y .

What amazes me is that the owners of the shop must have thought of the idea, filled in planning application forms, small business tax forms, and applied to a sign maker, without it ever occuring to them.

I am surprised that these signs have not been removed by the anti racist brigade.

Saw that the other day coming back from Waterford... Very amusing....

Another street sign I saw was in Manchester some years back. Canal Street. It is apparently a gay area & someone had crossed off the "C"..... :D

There's a garage door on the Stephen's Green to Sandyford Luas line, as the Luas turns from Harcourt Street to go to Charlemont that says "No Parking" on it. Someone changed the "P" to a "B".

    Sshhhh dogs.

Look at that, look at that. Accident black spot. These aren't accidents. They're throwing themselves into the road gladly. Throwing themselves into the road to escape all this hideousness.
Throw yourself into the road darling, you haven't got a chance.

I remember a few years back in Ranelagh, someone changed all the school crossing signs ( you know the ones with the two children walking side by side), so that they showed a kid walking with the grim reaper.

It was cool. I wish I had a picture.

    Voila...!

    Hilarious!

There is a sign near me for "Pearse Street" which has had the PE removed

"Arse Street" - Always gets a laugh.

Also, my brother lives in a cul de sac with a sign at the entrance saying
    SLOW
    CHILDREN

I expect really stupid children to be running into windows etc...

While driving through Clare recently, there was a sign that said

"NO O2 MAST PLEASE!" - Which looks like "NOOOOOOO 2 MAST PLEASE!"

One more, the signs on the M50 and M9 for Deer crossings, where people have added a red nose??? Hilarious!
