    hello

I am trying to create a ASP.NET application. It looks fine and dandy in the IDE - but when I deploy it to my website - the controls do not appear :(

    http://homepage.ntlworld.com/ping.chow/TEST/Default.aspx

there should be a textbox in the middle.

anyone know what I am doing wrong??

How are you deploying? Are you using the Publish Web Site option?

Does your host even support ASP.NET?

It doesn't. If you look at the source for the page the ASP.Net tags are still present and haven't been parsed.

This is me first try so forgive me if I appear a little dense :p

So are you saying that the site is OK, but NTLWorld do not support ASP.NET?

if so GGgrrrrrrrr - been trying all sorts to sort this out :/

I have tried two different ways to deploy - by using the 'copy website' function in VWD 2008 and also the aspnet_complier

    =(

Is there a way that I can redirect from the webpage to my PC ?

Exactly. You will need to pay for hosting that supports ASP.NET (about €40 a year).

    No.
