noisy wipers

    Hello


    Windscreen wipers started to make screeching noise.
    Used to work quietly until 4 days ago.


    Any ideas ?


    Car is Nissan Primera 2000.

    How about you try cleaning the wipers and the window ?

    Have you had the car through an automatic carwash? If so did that include wax? These spray the wax everywhere including on the windscreen. I've found in the past that the wax from some of these car washes plays havoc with the wipers causing screeching and juddering.
