It would be a pain alright if you paid for it then found it didn't exist.

There is a fairly old imposing house on the mornington road that sits half way up a hill directly across from a part of the boyne river called the stagrennan polder. Good chance that that's it.

    http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=&saddr=&daddr=&mra=pr&ie=UTF8&ll=53.716508,-6.314092&spn=0.010082,0.022359&t=h&z=16

There's a link to a google map, with the house centred. The polder can be seen just above it between the road and the river.
If it's not this one, it's one of only two others in that townland and shouldn't be hard to find...

that place is sold ages ago. i know the owner. there was going to be houses build in the field behind, but i think that the current housing slump scuppered that idea.

i heard that the previous owners some years ago used to get paid money for the cleaning of the windows, as the dust from the factory used to blow accross..

theres also a very old graveyard in a field behind it, with headstones, etc

also a high walled orchard. spooky place, i always wondered why there was such a large graveyard there.

Lots of graveyards around that area...sure when they were digging for the gas pipeline up between the mill road and the railway back in the late 80's they unearthed a lot of viking remains, burial ground or battle site or something, stopped the pipeline for a few months whilst they excavated it...I remember my grandfather said that years back horses would get spooked on that road for no reason or sometimes refuse to pass a certain point...
