Just a question about the French Aurals. Do you think I could leave the exam hall early after the written exam paper (say after an hour and a half) and then come back in for the aurals? Or do I have to stay the entire time till the aurals start?

Cos that hour or so would be great to study for History...

Are they not called "orals" as in spoken, rather than "aurals" as in heard?

Aurals as in they play a tape and you answer questions.

OP, just ask the supervisor if it's ok before the exam begins.

?? But they are heard so they are aurals... he's on about the tape after the french written exam. Is that what you meant.

Id say we should be allowed to leave early and come back. Sure they can't expect you just to stay in the room in between can they.

This is my plan too, we'd better be allowed leave. :O
