When I was cleaning my chain today I noticed a broken spoke on the back wheel.
I've no idea how long it's there but I was wondering if it's safe enough to go for a spin in the morning on it or should I wait until I get it fixed.

You would probably be ok if its a conventional back wheel with 36 or 40 spokes, there are plenty bikes being cycled around the city with more than one spoke broken. Check if there is loose spokes or a kink in the rim. If its one of these new generation wheels built around a hand full of spokes I wouldn't take it out.
