Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Good sketch. Any word of a tour after the Euros are over??

Been to see them twice and it's a quality show. The improv they do is fantastic.

Can anyone tell me the actual lyrics for badgerbadger. A bit of a disagreement in the office about it.
The snake part is what is confusing us. Some people think that its Snake a snake a naked snake' some 'snake a snake a magic snake' and some that it is snake a snake an african snake'

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 41,926 ✭✭✭✭_blank_

    Neither of them.

    It's

"A Snake, a snake, snaaaake, snaaaaake, oh it's a snaaake"

I've never seem him lose it like that before, he's normally so composed. Brilliant!! That was a real life Apres Match moment, even better that the one that was just on that cracked Bill up so much

I remember a match in 1990 WC when Stephen Alkin was doing a report and when they returned to the studio, Bill, Eamon and Giles were laughing so much and couldn't stop. RTE just had to end the programme and they apologised later on!

There isn't one in the Euros.

I don't why they haven't been given their own half hour show a week. I'd love to see that. I know Risteard Cooper had is own show last year, but the Apres match lads together would be quality

former Kerry Footballer, sometimes slightly controversial presenter... If you don't watch GAA it would have meant nothing to you alright. You would have seen him about 2 minutes after the sketch ended.

Missed todays so went onto the rte website, they took over Drivetime sport, can be listened to on the website, 27mins long, seems decent. Des Cahill interviews them as Staunton etc.

First 12 mins is original stuff the rest is audio of the euro08 stuff.

i thaught that one was brilliant but did anyone feel that the guys could have just repeated what the actual pundits were saying "they're rubbish, they're going to be squashed" as well as giles' "europe has taken our picture, thats why we voted no to lisbon" and it would have been just as good! i think they are tryin to compete with the apres match fellas!
