Casino Croupier/Dealer courses in ireland?

    If you did the croupier course it would only be useful in this country. Only Uk trained croupiers are licensed. (USA different license). Makes it easier to get jobs abroad or on cruise ships as most want licensed dealers nowadays.

    In saying that the UK Gaming Board have made it easier again with the new 5 year license so that people can freelance.

    If any legislation comes in here licensed dealers would be the way to go.

    Hi,
    I have worked in casino's for 10 years all aound the world.Just a bit of advice for you.If you want just to work in Ireland then i can say this course will be ok for you a bit expensive but they have to put lots of time and effort into the cousre so all in all not too crazy a price.But without a guaranteed job it's not that good IMO.
    If you fancy a career out of Ireland then the U.K is the way to go.Not all places charge you.Some casino's will pay you to train then you are guaranteed a job,licenced and with 6 months+ experience you will be ready to move on and find work anywhere you want,probably a year and you'll be employable everywhere.Companies won't even finish reading your C'V if you do this course in Dublin and apply for jobs.

    i e-mailed the irish gaming acadamy about 5 times about training to be a croupier and iv heard nothing back at all.
    are they still around cause the websites still up?
    maybe they have no courses happening for a few months but id like to know when they have some starting
