6 Months Wait on 1st Permit

    i only just found out about the 6 month wait today. :( i can't believe it. my driving instructor never mentioned the wait. i wouldn't mind the wait at all except i need my license to take up a job in america i have in september. i really don't know what to do. my plan was to spend all summer practicing.

    There's not much you can do about it unfortunately, you can apply before the 6 months though, so long as you've held your learners permit for exactly 6 months come the day of your test you're good to go.

    the company over there says that isn't a option but that was before we knew of the 6 month wait. i don't know if i can actually on a work visa or not. i'l check it out. i've only just got the learners permit. i understand the idea behind it but needed to vent.
