best car hire deals in germany ?

    Hi,

    I'am traveling to Germany soon on holidays for 2 weeks and looking at hiring out a car for the duration. I have done the usual companies , avis , Hertz, Europcar, Budget and I was wondering is there any others I could try for a good deal.

    Also as this is my first time driving in Germany is there any advise those of you that have driven there can give me regarding national requirements , town driving , giving way etc etc it would be much appreciated.

    Try www.sixt.com - can have very good deals on BMW and MB from time to time if you are lucky. They are a German company and a few times that I have hired their I have gotten a 5 series for less than a Vectra from Hertz. Worth a look, just watch for any hidden charges.
