[Kilkenny] AtoZ Computers Relocation Sale

AtoZ Computers on Rose Inn Street in Kilkenny are having a relocation sale.

All Microsoft products are half price; everything else in the shop has some kind of discount on it. I think the retail end is actually closing (only the services/support part is relocating) so pretty much everything has to go.

I spotted some Lacie Hard external drives, Microsoft Mice & Cameras & Mics; lots of media, internal cards, drives and the usual bunch of accessories

I was interested in an external harddrive on sale and wirelss keyboard/mouse etc and was ready to purchase but couple of things prevented me

    1. The sales person was too busy leaning on the desk gossiping to another woman to realise I was even in the shop looking for advice. I stood there queuing looking gormless for a bit - but I gave up as I didn't want to interupt her story.

    2. No.1 above and realisation that the reductions weren't that great considering prices in first place - decided to make my purchases on internet.

I guess if you want to run a bricks and mortar shop (and massively marking up products) you have to offer something over and above what the internet is offering.

Perhaps this is why they are 'relocating' ?

+1 on the reason they are relocating, they never seemed interested in the customer.

I got some Microsoft bits in there over the weekend, I thought the staff were pretty good. Some of the more expensive gear was deffo overpriced; even staff/heat/light/insurance/etc/etc couldn't justify the markup.

I have heard as well that relocation = job losses so I can understand if there's any apathy...
