Old man needs the belt done on his 92 VW Gold Diesel. I would classify it as a banger as he paid e1800 5 years ago, ( a main dealer would probably wright it off sooner than replace the belt.) Anyway it drives and has a years NCT left on it and he was advised to change the timing belt. How much should one pay to get the…
