Nice, the style of Colour is original and quite effective.
God I love those 2 chimneys but only since I took up photography!
I never upped a pic of 'em yet, did have a good one but deleted by mistake from cam. :o

Number 2 is excellent, love the colours and tones and the foreground is really nice. Number one is a bit busy and central for my taste

I have had it in my mind that I wanted a good pic of them alright, but up until now I have not produced anything thats of a good standard. I feel they are one of the hardest things in Dublin to make interesting, maybe because we are so used to seeing them every day. They are prob quite interesting for visitors to the city though. Hope you like it though.

    Dave.

I like #2. Foreground and background are equally interesting. The colours are very nice too. The crane in the first one riuns it for me.

Hi Dave, Love the pics especially the colours, what camera are you using? did you use any filters

  • Registered Users Posts: 218 ✭✭conkeroo

Congrats on those shots, very nice indeed. Shot 2 is quite simply amazing. I havent scene that area of Dublin taken as good as this. And technically sound in every aspect.

I want co-credits for picking the perfect location! I also maintain that my photos are better - if I ever get them off the camera :)

    Good job young Dave.

but number 1 is a bit "meeh" . Not your fault, obviously, the Dublin skyline is hardly a thing of beauty.

    Camera: Olympus E-410
    Lens: Olympus Zuiko Digital 40 - 150 mm f 3.5 - 4.5
    No Filters, just great light.

    I took the shot @ 40mm f20 for 60 seconds ISO 100

    Thanks for the comments lads.
