After getting a total of 3 marks for my stair na gaelige in my mocks I realised I should actually attempt to learn some of it! Any tips?

No clue, as someone said on a different thread, surely we should be more worried about the future of irish...

Aisling Pholatiuil should come up, and its grand. If you studied Urcheail a Chreagain, you know what it is already.

Ogham is easy, and it wont hurt to learn that, Bealoidis.

Influence of foreign languages came up in the mocks, so thats a possiblity.

I dunno, Stair is what im least worried about.

Couldn't hurt to learn Ruraíocht/Fiannaíocht. They haven't come up in a while, wouldn't be surprised to see either of them.

Are they asked as one question or two separate ones?
    Hopefully two. :)

two different ones but theyre relatively similar... sceal laochra, featuring dulra and draoicht and all that jazz, ya can kinda ramble... know gaeilge sna mean chumarsaide and gaeilge agus an gaeltacht... and ogham... those are all the easy ones..all im learning anyway!

How much would you have to write on each topic?

I think it's three main points on each topic... could be wrong though

15 marks for each Q, 30 marks overall. So I believe 3 MAIN developed points for each.

Not too bad, you'll get loads of Ruraiocht/Fhiannaoicht without even describing the stories. you'll be grand. :)

Might look over Bard Scoileanna to be safe.

So a point would be a couple of lines?
