Which Online Stockbroker ?

I am looking to start buying some shares, which broker would people recommend ?? I would prefer to be able to do everything online. I would not be buying any major amounts, perhads a couple of thousand euro a couple of times a year. Thoughts ??

I use E*Trade.co.uk to invest in the British Markets and it is as cheap as it can get....after you open your online account you need to send out to them quite a lot of paper documents, statements, etc before they activate your account though (standard as other banks do).
