Ok, so now we're all recovering nicely from the W220 (or at least I am :)), how about we have a boards 'meet n greet' or just a few pints on Friday night, from 6pm in The Church (it's beside the Jervis Centre, opposite mcDonalds). We can sit out in the sun, sip beer and chill out.

    Anyone else?

I'm in, but I won't be along till a little later as I generally don't get out of work until after seven on a Friday.

May be a few sore heads on the Saturday morning spin this week;)

I'm thinking possibly... just a spin up to Enniskerry, then back via Killiney hill

I know, I know, but it does solve the:
    me: "let's meet in keatings"
    mate: "where's that?"
me: "down by the Jervis centre"
mate: "Oh, you mean the church pub"
me: "Well, yes, but it's called Keatings"
mate: "But it used to be a church..."
    Conversations...

The McDonalds site was the original Keatings. Big court case at the time of building the shopping centre.

How do we count this one on the scoreboard?
    1-1-1?

How did you get on with the drinks thing?

I nearly went but had too much on and couldn't make it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,530 ✭✭✭dub_skav

Was pretty good. 5 of us in the end with a 6th popping in to collect gear. We had many pints and discussed all things from cycling to Lisbon to rugby to whatever else it degenerated into.

Those lads off t'interweb aren't as scary as I thought
