Because it reminds me of someone close to me. :(

This song could relate to anybody you know that has died.

Another great song from THE BOSS!!

Never heard that song before it;s vey thanks for posting it.

I can't remember the last song that made me cry or if any have ever. But i am weird in that sad songs make me happy which is why i listen to so much Nick Cave i suppose.
But if your looking for something to make you cry may i recommend these songs :)

The Innocent Mission "Bright as Yellow"

Nick Cave "are you the one i've been looking for" and "into my arms"

Casio tone for the painfully alone "new years kiss"

Antony and the Johnson "hope there's someone"

Marcy Playground "America" mostly because it reminds me of someone.

Elliott Smith "Needle in the hay"

Heaven by Ayumi Hamasaki has made me cry once.

I also cried once when I heard How To Save a Life but I don't know if that counts because of the video that was with it.

    Bruce Springsteen -- The River
Johnny Cash -- We'll Meet Again (think it has to to do with the group chorus)
Gordon Lightfoot -- If You Could Read my Mind Love
Flogging Molly -- If I Ever Leave This World Alive (gets very uplifting towards the end makes you feel everything is going to be ok)

There's 2 others that I cant think of their names, one of them is about a letter between a guys grandparents it starts with... "I found a letter my Granda wrote back in 19??..." and the other is a relatively new song and has the line "I will come back for you" in it.

Agreeing with whoever said "Tonight, Tonight" by the Smashing Pumpkins - an incredibly emotional song.

At the moment - Nightwish's song "The Islander" just gets me. It's just beautiful.

Yeah, it has always got me, even as a kid.

Even though I did laugh when it turned up on South Park a while back. :)

Isn't It A Pity by George Harrison

Always get emotional listening to that, especially since my favorite Beatle passed away...

Theres a great version by Eric Clapton, Billy Preston, Dhani Harrison and a host of other legends on youtube....

Jack Doyle (The Contender) by Christy Moore.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jakfq_6TVGw

"And when I die I'll die a drunk down on the street
You can count me out to ten in clear defeat
Wrap the Starry Plough around me
Let the piper's air resound me
There I'll rest until the lord of love I meet"

some background: Jack Doyle was a famous Irish boxer who lived the highlife in London far away from his very modest upbringing in Cobh. He could sing, he could act, he could box. He became known as the 'Gorgeous Gael' and is said to have owned hundreds of fine suits. Sadly, the booze took over his life and he died alone, homeless, poor and a mess. It was the community in Cobh that paid to bring his remains home, and he was buried like a hero.

"A Man Needs A Maid" by Neil Young.

This is my interpretation and it could be wrong, but he talks about replacing a lost lover with a maid to "fix his meals" and "keep my house clean", but the tone of the chorus, a thundering "A Mannnnn needs a maid!!!!"...

It's not long before you can hear the true feeling behind the song when he sings in his quiet heartbreaking vocal

"To give a love, you gotta live a love.
To live a love, you gotta be "part of"
When will I see you again?"

It makes me well-up every time.

It's an incredible song and ends with the quietest

"when will I see you again?"

    Amazing :)

Ennio Morricone - Love theme (from Cinema Paradiso) - gets me everytime.. Also the same song but with Dolce Pontes doing vocals. I would seriously recommend a download. Here's a youtube link, it starts rather quickly although it shouldn't. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gaLPC4YAEus

Anything by Celine Dion, just because it reminds me that she's still alive.
    Cushion, I salute your integrity.

Seriously, The Rememberance by Jake Thackray. I've been trying to get a decent copy on MP3 for years.
