In the Region forums, Tipperary is under the Mid West Region!!! I'm living in Clonmel and I know I do not live in the Mid West. So I want to get it moved into the South East Region Forum. Do what ever you like with North Tipp but South Tipp is in SOUTH EAST.

    Are You With ME!!!!

    I thank You.

IMO it was stated before that the structure follows the classifications of the health boards for simplicity sakes.

Tipperary Needs to Be Split in two.....

Send South Tipp off to where ever they want....bogmonkeys!!

You can leave the North in the center of the universe where it belongs!!!

This type of question seems to come up at least once a month, the original region forums were set up to mimic the Health Board regions.

Leave it as it is, less headache all round.

    +1
The only good thing to come out of South Tipp is Bulmers cider!
North Tipp on the other hand has a proud history, including three Olympic Gold Medallists

Tipp is in the Mid-west and always will be

Ireland has won 8 gold medals.
Tbh, I'd call it 5 due if you stripped the medals from a certain well-known swimmer

So 3 athletes from North Tipperary represent 3 of these medals

    Cool table here!

There's also Tom Kiely from South Tipp who won a medal in the 1904 Summer Olympics. He refused to compete with the British team so went representing "Ireland" (though it didn't exist at the time as far as the Olympics was concerned.

Sooo, OP, you saying that we should all break our backs for you to pick up Tipperary and carry it down to Wexford? thats what your title sounds like. And if we do bring it down and drop it on wexford, will it not smother them?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,314 ✭✭✭Marcus.Aurelius

Leave them where they are, Tipperary is south central at best, certainly not in the east.

    tipperary.gif

    Hmmmmmmm

Move em into south along with Waterford and Limerick perhaps?

@Sully, I doubt Beat FM dictate where North, South, East and West exist!:p

Why should Boards follow our incompetent health system. Tipperary is neither mid west or south east, more like south central.
Maybe the regions should be :- North Munster, South Munster, North Leinster, South Leinster ect.

All this whining and yet they will still take the shannon development money :D

If you are going to split tipp , then you will need to split southeast laois which is in the midwest. its in the spin southwest franchise area as well.

    Seriously ...

    why
    do
    people

Apparently its just Tip South that gets considered part of the South East.

Twould be very funny if we split it but pointless imo.

It wont work because.....................ULSTER SAYS NO

  • Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators Posts: 10,912 Mod ✭✭✭✭Ponster

****e. I think it should have been kept from Ulster until it was too late to change.

I think the provincial system works best of all, and there are no fights about this regional nonsense. Tipp is obviously not in the southeast no more than it is in the west.
