Dell Latitude D600 Memory Upgrade

    Hi,

    I have shopped online for a few days now and would like some advice on buying memory. I have looked at all the websites named in the sticky post and more and seem to have found the best deal but just wanted to be sure...

    Dell Latitude D600 currently with 512MB RAM (2 x 256MB)

    Looking to upgrade to 2GB (2 x 1GB)

    The specs for it are: DDR PC2700, 200-pin, SODIMM

    The Dell website has it at a price of €58 per 1GB, Shop4Memory @ €51 and komplett.ie @ €61 per 1GB.

    I have looked at ebay too but the prices seem to be very low for the same type of memory. Would I be better (and safer with manuf purchase) to buy it direct from Dell or has anybody bought similar memory from any other website / ebay and been perfectly happy??
