Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Need some advice please!! I have an interview next week for a position with two subjects, one of them being French. Im presuming that some of the interview will be through French and am wondering what kinds of questions could be asked? My French is good but I dont think its interview standard!!

I really doubt that they'll ask you any questions in french, my subject is Irish and they've never asked me any irish questioins at an interview which is far more likely!!

Id agree, if its for a secondary school or VEC I'd be very surprised if they would interview in French. Ihave never been asked any questions in French anyway and have done a few interviews over the years. If it's for an Institute of Technology or University they may well do though. However from what I remember it was pretty straightforward like have you spent time in France? What did you do there? How do u maintain the standard your language? What did you do your Masters in? That kind of thing. What I would suggest that you do is give them a call and just say you are in the process of preparing for the interview and was wondering if a part of the interview would be in French and should you prepare for that. There is no shame whatsoever in doing that and then at least you would know!
