Would it be possible to change the visitor message system so that replies to a message are stored as comments to that message.
The current system can be a bit confusing in that when you view a profile, you only see one side of a conversation as well as several conversations being intermixed.

I know you can click 'view conversation' to sort it out but I think the whole thing would look cleaner if replies were appended as comments to a message.

I think folk can use PMs or forums for threaded discussion.

Maybe turn off the 'reply' feature so that the comments to a post on a profile stay on the original profile.

I'm not saying it should be threaded - it's just a bit confusing to look at as is.

Not sure I follow you, I see no "reply" option. Just a "post message" option.

Sorry CuLT, I didn't think that one through before posting.

I was talking about posting in 'view conversation' mode, the reply only appears in the other members profile.

I guess the visitor messaging wasn't designed with chit-chat in mind.

    Ah right, I follow now.

Yeah, I think it was designed more along the bebo and facebook school of thought, which I think is good as it prevents the visitor messages and social groups from taking the place of forums and even PMs.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
